DOG COLLAR

Dress your pooch in style! This handsome collar is made from superior quality American bridle leather, finished with solid brass hardware. This collar is 3/4" wide and is good for medium sized dogs. I also make collars 1" for REAL BIG dogs, 5/8" for small to medium dogs, and 1/2" for micro pups.

If your dog is an everyday swimmer, I would recommend not wearing this in the water. Having a second nylon collar as a "swimming collar" is a good idea. My dog swims in this leather one only occasionally, and I treat it with leather balm the day after to prevent the leather from deteriorating.

I recommend occasionally treating this leather product with a good leather oil or balm. It makes it look great and it prevents cracking and deterioration. I now offer my own One Star Leather Balm and it happens to be the best product I've ever used on my leathers:

This tan color leather will darken significantly over time with exposure to the sun and elements. The last photo shows my dog's collar after a number of months of wear. It started as the tan color and is now a rich brown.

I also make matching dog leashes.
