THE ONE STAR BELT

A simple strap of superior quality leather, finished with a durable buckle. Buckles are secured with rivets, but if you would prefer the buckle to be removable, Chicago screws are an available option: You may add the $2 listing "Belt add-on: Chicago screws instead of rivets (set of 2)" to your order when ordering your belt (find that listing in the Belts section of the shop).

Edges are burnished. This is skirting leather from the Wickett & Craig tannery.

BELT MEASUREMENT ("SIZE" - ENTER ABOVE) - **IMPORTANT**

Each belt is custom sized. The measurement I need is *NOT* your pant size. Keep reading:

To determine your belt size, measure a current belt that fits you well. Measure the distance (in inches) from the hole you use most to the other end of the belt where the leather folds over the buckle (at the base of the buckle prong). You will probably notice that your belt size is a few inches larger than your pant size.

When you receive your belt, the middle of 5 holes will be 1" smaller than your measurement. This is to account for about 1" of stretch in the belt as it breaks in. After break-in, your given measurement should fall close to the middle hole. This is not an exact science and each piece of leather will break in slightly differently.

Remember to double check your belt measurement! I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MISTAKES IN MEASUREMENTS. The size you order is the size you will receive.

Custom sized belts are not returnable unless I made a mistake (in which case please contact me and I will correct it!).

"NATURAL LEATHER" CHARACTER

I adore things that come to look better with age and through use become one-of-a-kind items. This product in the "natural" color is made of vegetable tanned leather and will evolve over time. It will darken to a rich caramel color with use and exposure to UV light and take on an individual character based on the use by the owner. After a couple months it will be beautifully unique. If you want to speed up the darkening process, you can tan the leather by leaving it in the sun. Or just let time do the work!

I would strongly recommend treating this natural veg tanned leather product with a good leather oil or balm. It makes it look great and it prevents cracking and deterioration.
